We’re very happy that you are considering applying to PreProBono! The bare minimum for applying is your
personal statement. However, we would also be interested in seeing academic transcripts and resumes or CVs, but do
not require them. Lastly, if you have financial aid, please be sure to let us know by also sending along a scan of
your award letter!
That’s it. Piece of cake. Easy as pie.
PreProBono aims to provide free resources for promising future law students interested in public interest law. We
strongly believe that the law is an important tool for activists, nonprofit workers, and philanthropists alike, and
hope to encourage young law students to consider utilizing their degrees altruistically.
Please attach a 900 to 1500 word statement describing your past commitments, current involvements, and/or future
plans as they apply to your humanitarian ambitions.
Take some time to mull this over, and once you’ve written your statement and collected any other documentation you want
to submit, come right back here to complete your application electronically.
Don’t want to submit electronically? You can also mail us a hard copy of your application at the address below (and be sure to include all the information listed below).
